While “COVID-19” has been ranked the most searched word on the internet, let us talk about the words that have not. Terms such as “office chairs.”

We need suitable chairs for different desks and tasks. The popular theory — one for all — does not apply here. An ideal chair offers function, comfort, and the right ergonomic support. There are many categories of chairs that may suit your requirements. Let’s check out some of them:

Big and tall chairs

These chairs are suitable for the big and the tall. The heavy-duty construction ensures safe and long-lasting use for larger-stature individuals.

Drafting chairs

These chairs get paired with standing height desks, counter-height meeting tables, and others. With features, such as foot ring and height change, the drafting chair is the best fit for a working surface.

24-hour chairs

The 24-hour chair, ideal for continual use, can withstand long hours with ease. These chairs offer padded seats, back and height adjustments, and extra-durable frames.

Kneel chair

The kneel chair positions your thighs at a 60 to 70-degree angle, and divides the weight between the seat and knee cushion. Thus, reducing the lower back strain.

Ergonomics chair

The chair supports individuals with knee tilt, back height, lumbar support, and seat depth adjustments.

Computer chairs

Also known as task chairs, they offer a few ergonomic features, like rolling cases, to help you move around the office setting.

Conference chairs

This forward-leaning chair helps keep users engaged in boardrooms and meeting spaces. However, the seats have minimal adjustments and are not suitable for long duration.

What chair is the perfect fit?

A small investment can help you save on expensive medical bills. With social distancing in effect, I’d recommend you test your requirements with details such as seat height, features, comfort, user reviews, etc. and choose the perfect chair for your needs.
